Comentarios sobre Citas y Testimonios.
El Audiovisual como Arte, 5 de mayo de 2003, Carlos M. Guiot
Reading and contemplating “Quotations and Testimonies” I remind Étienne Souriau in his “Correspondence of the arts” when comparing the diverse manifestations of the Art considers that all are roads that take diverse realities towards the existence. Because the painting (or the picture) they can create atmospheres, temperatures, chills; as the music can evoke colours or “the sculpture to make us feel, by means of the forms, the lukewarm ness of a body, the wind that blows or the sun that bathes the forms.” Because in the author’s work, music, poetry and photography are melt in an only creation. The texts are of a strange beauty, with remarkable inspiration, almost metaphysical. The pictures create the climate that the work really suggests, and the music–although many works are for me unknown–I can listen to them following the conductive thread that suggests the rest of the work. In the “The Enigma of the Great Voices”, the language is almost pictorial; the description of the landscape that surrounds the “maker of distaffs” and “The lumberjack” in the “The Exhalation of the Earth” they force to see a square. And the merit of your pictures is stood out by the extracts of the theory of “The Audiovisual Art.”
