This book is integrated by a profuse iconographic selection of 236 photographs which is a selection of the 14 audiovisual works that make up the series entitled The exhalation of the Earth, which comprise in its realization four periods of the author between 1993 and 2016.

It also includes all of the testimonies and documents referring to this series through the inclusion of a complete extract of the edition made in 2002 of Quotations and testimonials. The Audiovisual as Art. Identification of the Works belonging to this Collection of Audiovisual Art and Memory.

This literary edition also contains reflections of the author related with the appearance of the mounting applied in these works, in turn, outlined in its Audiovisual theory developed in the books that are included in this catalog

The basic need persecuted by the director was to leave expressed in literary form in this edition a selection of images and the totality of the testimonies and documents of what meant the most numerous series of audiovisual works brought together by the in a context not only argument and documentary, but at the same time philosophy.
